Track 1: Robo Soccer
Event Rules Robo Soccer: The objective is to design a manual robot that can compete in an arena specially designed for robotic soccer matches. The event is aimed at testing the Flipping, Kicking skills, and the control of the robot. The event mainly consists of two rounds .
ROUND I - Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal
- Three same size balls for different teams are placed in their different 3 locations in the arena.
- The ball of one arena has to be goaled into the opposite arena goal post.
- If any of the robots starts off before the start up call, the counter would be restarted and the machines will get a second chance. If repeated again then the team will be disqualified.
- There will be a match of 3 minutes.
- Earned Points equals the number of goals.
- Fouls will also be accounted for to choose the winner. Driving the ball intentionally towards the opponent leads to a foul.
- Penalty shots will be provided in case of a tie . In such cases turn by turn single chances given to teams to post goal challenges form a given location by coordinators . Leading Team in this challenge was declared as the winner .
ROUND II - Kaun Banega Soccer Champion
- Single ball will be placed at the centre, robots are initially placed at their respective goal posts.
- If any of the robots starts off before the start up call, the counter would be restarted and the machines will get a second chance. If repeated again then the team will be disqualified.
- Total time limit in this task is 7 minutes divided into two part First Half = 3 Minutes & One Minute Break then Second decider Half = 3 Minutes
- Participants should hit the ball into the opponent’s goal to score points.
- Each participant can make as many goals in a limited time.
- Penalty shots will be provided in case of a tie . In such cases turn by turn single chances given to teams to post goal challenges form a given location by coordinators . Leading Team in this challenge was declared as the winner .
- Judging criteria for the final winner will be based on the number of goals scored and the time taken by the participants.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
- The team can have a maximum number of 3 members.
- Only one participant should control the robot; no player can be exchanged in the middle of the match.
- Human interference (e.g. touching the robot) during the game is not allowed.
- A robot can push or hit the ball. It cannot withhold or grab the ball.
- Positions of balls in the arena will be decided by the organisers on the particular day of the event.
- Coordinator can change the rules according to the situation or the parameters.
- The event coordinator is the match referee. He takes all the decisions and participants have to abide by it.
- Decisions of the Judges and Event Organisers shall be treated as final and binding on all and cannot be contested.
Track 2 : 5G RoBo Race
Event Rules 5G Robo Race:
Design a robot either wired or wireless within the specified dimensions that can operate manually and can travel through all turns of the track. The robot that will complete the specified task in the least time will be the winner. Think your robot can overcome any obstacle big or small in the least amount of time.
ARENA SPECIFICATIONS:
- The width of the path will be 35 - 40 cm.
- There would be a lot of obstacles like Rolling marbles, grass, sand, glass, and some mud in alternative places of the arena.
- There would be some incline slant and decline slant, see-saw, spring door, curved hurdles, and revolving wheel in the arena.
- The last obstacle will be disclosed on the spot.
RULES AND REGULATIONS:
- The machine should cover the complete path of the arena, no shortcut will be allowed.
- The machine should start to run from the start point of the arena.
- The machine should not damage the arena else the team will be disqualified.
- The machine should not leave the path; otherwise, a penalty will be there.
- If the two wheels of the machine cross the boundaries of the track, it will be considered as a penalty.
- Team members will be allowed only three times to touch or reset their robot's position during the run. However, this will lead to a time penalty and the timer will not stop during this course of action.
- If any of the robots start off before the start-up call, the counter would be restarted and the machines would get a second chance. If repeated again then the team will be disqualified.
- No team will get a second chance after completing the track with a poor score.
- Coordinator can change the rules according to the situation or the parameters.
- The event coordinator is the match referee. He takes all the decisions and participants have to abide by it.
