Diwali – the festival of lights. The origin of this festival was to light up every dark corner, streets and houses.
1. ARTICLE WRITING COMPETITION
On occasion of Diwali celebrations This year, Ministry of Education Institution Innovation Council & Roboshala-GGI-Ludhiana In Collaboration With Scrollwell Edutech LLPis reaching out to its Member States and other stakeholders to invite them to write Article about any Future Era of Automation & Robotics Technologies.
Suggestive topics are given below:-
1. Is COVID-19 Accelerating Automation?
2. “Forced Automation” by COVID-19?
3. How Covid-19 is Driving Increased Adoption of Artificial Intelligence
4. AI & Automation During the Covid-19 Pandemic
5. Robotics In Education as a Tool
6. AI, Robotics & Its Impact on Society
7. Recent Trends in Robotics & Computer Integrated Manufacturing
8. Smart phone based robots for domestic use using Bluetooth devices
9. Agricultural robots
ELIGIBILITY
Ø All undergraduate and postgraduate students, teachers, research scholars from a recognized school, Colleges/Universities are eligible to participate in the competition. (Co-authorship is allowed)
Ø Article Submission Guidelines
Ø We prefer articles be 150 to 300 words in length. Longer articles will be accepted if the length is necessary to convey the ideas.
Ø Articles that are well-written, interesting to our broad audience, relevant to one of our topic areas, and informative rather than promotional will be given first consideration.
Ø The article should present information such that it leaves the reader satisfied at having learned something new.

2. POSTER MAKING COMPETITION
Category 1:- Handmade Poster
This year, IIC GGI Ludhiana is reaching out to its Member States and other stakeholders to invite them to submit poster on Future Era of Automation & Robotics Technologies in aspect of the Diwali 2020 under any of the following categories.
Submission Guidelines
Handmade posters are to be scanned or photographed and the digital copy sent.) JPEG or PDF format of posters are permissible. The posters should be formatted so that these can be printed, when needed, on an A4/ A3 paper size.
2. POSTER MAKING COMPETITION
Category 2:- Digital Poster
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
o Layout : Landscape or Portrait
o Size : A3 /A4
o The design specifics are the following: JPG, PNG , BMP format
o Any artwork on the poster must be original in design.
o Poster designs containing clip art and downloaded brushes will not be considered by the judges.
o The poster must be related from the given theme.
ELIGIBILITY FOR POSTER MAKING
o All undergraduate and postgraduate students, teachers, research scholars from a recognized school, Colleges/Universities are eligible to participate in the competition.
JUDGING CRITERIA
o Originality – 35% it must show the ability to be inventive and creative.
o Relevance to the theme – 35% the design should effectively communicate from the given theme.
o Aesthetic Appeal – 30%The Poster design must captivate the judges’ senses, taking into consideration the aesthetic principles of symmetry, focal point, pattern, perspective, dimensionality and proportion.
CERTIFICATE
The top 5 entries shall receive the certificate of appreciation common for both Faculty /Students for Article Writing, Poster making (Digital Category), and Poster making (Handmade Category)
A certificate of participation shall be issued to all the participants on the successful submission.
