National Technology Day - 2021 Awareness Campaign Competition | IICGGI Every year the Ministry of Science and Technology celebrates National Technology Day on 11th May. The day is considered as a symbol of pursuit for technological creativity, scientific inquiry and the conversion of that pursuit in the integration of society, industry and science. Theme: “Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future”.
“Technology like art is a soaring exercise of the human imagination” -Daniel Bell Objective: 2021, the year that dawned upon with hope, perseverance, belief, and maturity to deal with the New normal, has demonstrated the role of technology as a way of life, at an individual as well as at an Enterprise level. Suggestive topics are given below: - (Choose any one for Article submission (English Only)) Topic 1: History of technological progress: The first technological discoveries. Topic 2: What would life be without modern technology? Topic 3: Health technologies that have changed the world. Topic 4: Can robots replace humans completely on the workplaces? Why? Topic 5: Correlation between technological progress and human identity. Topic 6: The most shocking modern technology inventions the majority of people still aren’t aware of. Topic 7: Is the Internet bringing people closer to each other or separating them? ELIGIBILITY • All undergraduate and postgraduate students, teachers, research scholars from a recognized school, Colleges/Universities are eligible to participate in the competition. (Coauthorship is allowed) Article Submission Guidelines Format Word / PDF any Acceptable. Language of Article writing :- English ( Only Acceptable ) The Article should present information such that it leaves the reader satisfied at having learned something new. We prefer your views be 1000 to 1200 words in length. Longer views will be accepted if the length is necessary to convey the ideas. Article that are well-written, interesting to our broad audience, relevant to one of our topic areas, and informative rather than promotional will be given first consideration. Submission of Article at email@example.com before 14th/May/2021 Judging Criteria Evaluation criteria will include Novelty of the idea, complexity, clarity and details in the prescribed format, Feasibility Practicability Sustainability Scale of impact Certificate The top 25 entries shall receive the certificate of appreciation common for both Faculty / Students.
