To focus on ecosystem restoration, this year 2023, the theme of World Environment Day is Join the global movement to #BeatPlasticPollution. The World Environment Day will see the launch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration( 2021-2030) a global mission for revival of ecosystem.

World Environment Day, 2023 BEST FROM WASTE  (INNOVATIVE PRODUCT MAKING COMPETITION)

Theme: “#BeatPlasticPollution” - “We won’t have a society if we destroy the Environment” -Margaret Mead 

Objective : This Environment lets lend our hands in making our environment not just clean and clear but wonderful. And let’s start this with the first step from our homes.

Best from Waste – Innovative Product Making Competition : This year, IIC GGI Ludhiana is reaching out to all those who are connected with us to celebrate the World Environment Day with a step towards making the environment clean by making our homes clean. Take all the waste products from your home and show your creativity in making it of the best use.

Eligibility : All undergraduate and postgraduate students, teachers, research scholars from a recognized school, Colleges/Universities are eligible to participate in the competition.

Submission Guidelines

• Format Acceptable : Word/PDF

• Mandatory: The image of the product and the waste materials used should be attached in a document with all the steps and equipment precisely written. And also the use of the made product.

• Optional Video of making and showing the use Submission of Youtube Link will be appreciable

Judging Criteria Evaluation criteria will include

❖ Novelty of the idea, complexity, clarity and details in the prescribed format,

❖ Feasibility

❖ Practicability

 Certificate Type 

❖ The top 25 Entries shall receive the Certificate of Appreciation common for both Faculty / Students.

❖ A Certificate of Participation shall be issued to all the participants on the successful submission.
